Dear Father, I am the one who has been crushed by a tragedy. I don't know what to say. I don't know what to think. I'm stunned. I'm like a deer in headlights. My head is spinning. I'm confused and in chaos. I have no idea why You allowed this to happen to me. I don't know how I can go on living with this. I don't know how I'll survive. Father, bring people into my life to help me. May I let them do acts of kindness for me. I'll thank them one day. Help me to talk through my feelings with them. May they listen. Father, help me to accept the love You want to pour out to me through my caring friends and family. Father, please be merciful. Save me. Rescue me. Deliver me. Comfort me. Help me. Use others as Your instruments of Your love to me. Amen.
