Dear Father, I miss them. I miss them so much. They became so much a part of my heart and soul. Sunrise and sunset. My loved one was always there. They listened. They hugged. They encouraged. They challenged. They shared. They loved. I miss the unique person You made them to be. Father, they came into my life for a season. They had a role and a purpose, touching me in a way that somehow made me a better person. Thank You. May I be thankful and grateful for the time I had with them. May their memory give me joy and not pain. Father, bring another into my life to help me grow some more. May I be a blessing to someone else in the way this person was such a blessing to me. Amen.
