#522 - Alzheimer's/Dementia - Part 2
Volume 2 - Prayers to Love Our Neighbor
Dear Father, my loved one's struggle with Alzheimer's or dementia reminds me that I have a couple of things to be thankful for. Memories. Even though this person is essentially gone from my life, I have memories of the good times we had together. Thank You for that. Those memories put a smile on my face as I wipe away my tears. However, I also want to thank You for things such as emails, photographs, videos, text messages, and social media posts. Father, at one time they could communicate with me. Thanks to technology, I can go back and re-experience when I had a relationship with them. Father, thank You for the technologies You have given us so that our memories of our loved ones can remain strong as the years go by. Amen.
