Volume 2 - Prayers to Love Our Neighbor

Dear Father, I was not meant to be single. After much prayer, I continue to long for a human partner. I need a soulmate in life. I believe You have someone in mind for me and You will reveal them to me at the right time and place. I know You will orchestrate a divine appointment, a moment of miraculous coincidence where the right man or woman crosses paths with me. However, I need to do my part by getting out of my house. Father, lead me to faith communities where I can get involved. I'm likely to meet someone who loves You. Show me where I can volunteer to help people in need. I'm likely to meet someone who loves others. Help me explore activities outside my home, where I'm likely to meet someone with similar interests, such as at a bookstore or a race. Father, prayer is an exciting adventure only when we believe You are going to answer the prayer. If I ask You for someone to love but stay at home and keep to myself, I'm doubting You will answer my prayer. If I explore possibilities in life, it means I am expressing belief that You will answer my prayers and do what You do in wonderful and surprising ways. Father, surprise and delight me and get me out of the house. Amen.
