Volume 2 - Prayers to Love Our Neighbor

Dear Father, I signed up for Twitter. It is an opportunity for me to contribute short insights into conversations that are trending around the world. It is an opportunity to send out words of wisdom or encouragement to those who "follow" me. It is an opportunity for me to be kept up-do-date with what influential people are saying. Father, it is so easy to make everything about me. My human nature defaults to the preeminence of my own self-interests over the interests of everyone else. I don't want to live that way. I want to live my life so that others come first. Help me to practice that mentality on Twitter. If I'm going to use Twitter, help me to tweet and retweet words that uplift and encourage other people. If I'm going to tweet about a person or a group of people, help me to find good things to say about them. Father, my utilization of Twitter is another test of how obedient I am to Your command to love others. Help me to past that test. Amen.
