Volume 2 - Prayers to Love Our Neighbor

Dear Father, I need to raise money for my charity. I understand that there are thousands of charities who are all looking for donations. How on earth do we compete for the charitable dollar? Father, I believe the following things must be true for donations to come in. - We need to surrender our lives and our charity to You. We are Yours. It is Yours. We are doing this for Your glory and not our own. We are doing this because You love people in need. We are doing this by Your strength and not our own. We are doing this by Your wisdom and direction. We are being groomed by the Holy Spirit, bearing more and more fruit each day. - Our mission and purpose must resonate with potential donors. - Our characters must be admirable and honorable. - We must be a charity that gets results. We must have testimonies of lives changed. We must have evidence that we are making a difference in our community. - We must communicate effectively what we need and why we need it. People won't give when they aren't asked to give and don't know why they are giving. Father, please make these things happen. Change the hearts of our leaders, including mine. Connect us with those who have the financial means and the heart for our ministry. Help us to transform lives and the community by our work. Father, bring in the donations that we need. May we use them effectively to transform lives in Your name. Amen.
